Winkleigh & District Garden Club

Our meetings have a varied content, some including visiting speakers on subjects of a horticultural, garden, or related, theme and in addition we organise a number of outings during the year.
The meetings also typically include a plant swap table, raffle, and we have a club notice board for member information and use. There is a coffee/tea break with time for members to share information or simply socialise.

The year will start with a number of our club members giving talks on an area of their expertise/knowledge, and the provisional programme for 2009 includes four visiting speakers, three visits, a question time with a panel of visitors, our seed order and AGM, and of course a club social event in August with our Christmas social in December.

We have a club newsletter, which is published monthly, normally at the end of the month, and is distributed via email, hand, or post ensuring everyone gets a copy.
Our membership has good representation from a number of the surrounding villages and hamlets.

The club meets monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, in Winkleigh Village Hall, and new or prospective, members are always welcome at our meetings.
