We are a well established group, with a large number of members, many of whom possess a comprehensive knowledge of all things alpine.
We hold meetings on the first Wednesday of every month, at the Redmarley Village Hall from 7.15pm. We invite a range of speakers to talk to us about alpines from around the world.
Single member subscription £8, Joint member subscription £11 & Visitors £1.50p (per meeting).
Lechlade Gardening Club is open to all residents in Lechlade and the surrounding districts. It meets at the Lechlade Memorial Hall on the 2nd Wednesday in the month at 7.30 pm and has a monthly speaker or social activity which includes visits to other gardens. Events in the coming year include a talk on the Royal Parks, a special visit to Buscot Park, and speakers sharing knowledge on alpines and on garden pests.
Plympton Gardeners Association was founded in 1948 to promote gardening and to help members improve gardening skills. The association is currently affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society, the National Vegetable Society, the Daffodil Society and the Dahlia Society.
Meetings are held on the last Thursday of the month at 7.00pm for 7.15pm at the The Manor House, Park Road, Dawlish. The society has been in existence since 1863 and promotes all aspects of gardening and horticulture.
The society organises regular events including talks on all aspects of gardening, visits to gardens and other places of horticutural interest and talks by guest speakers. We currently have over 60 members and new members are always welcome.
