Open Gardens in aid of the British Red Cross 2016
This four-acre garden has 18th century origins and many later additions. It features sweeping lawns, a lake overhung with willow, a canal running parallel to a Victorian rose-covered pergola along with a box parterre plus a Chinoiserie-style garden. These are complemented by a recent temple folly, walled vegetable garden and wonderful mature trees. Children must be supervised because of very deep water. Deep gravel paths and steps may cause difficulty but most features are accessible by lawn.
