More awards as Stewarts expand

Stewarts Garden Centres from Dorset have added another accolade to their impressive list of awards. The Dorset group with garden centres in Christchurch and Wimborne  have been rated the third best ‘Destination centre’ in UK and a centre of excellence. The award comes from the influential Garden Centres Association which represents nearly 200 garden centres in the UK. The passion for horticulture has been in the Stewarts family for eight  generations.  The business can be traced back to 1742.  Stewarts claim to have created the earliest dedicated garden centre opened in Ferndown in 1955 before their first out of town centre at Christchurch opened in 1961.

Stewarts have recently acquired their third garden centre, the Abbey Garden Centre in Titchfield. Hampshire.
